They also offer a “Healthy High Tea” at Baker&Moore for those with a sweet tooth and a focus on wellness. This entirely vegan, gluten-, lactose-, and sugar-free spread is thoughtfully designed to offer guilt-free indulgence. Guests can savor slow-pressed juices, seasonal soups, luxurious sandwiches, and an assortment of exquisite pastries from renowned local brands like Rose & Vanilla and SUE. The experience is enriched with a variety of teas and an inviting ambiance, making it a delightful choice for a relaxing afternoon.


We delved into two of their signature dishes: Our Burrata & Moore and the Hearty Greek Chicken, both served on their 100% spelt wheat organic sourdough. Each dish brought its own character to the table, with some clear highlights and a few elements that left us wanting more.

The Our Burrata & Moore was an absolute hit. The burrata, a generous 125g portion, was exceptionally fresh, its creamy texture pairing harmoniously with the salty serrano ham and the vibrant, nutty homemade pesto. The addition of rocket salad, sun-dried tomatoes, and pine nuts added layers of flavor and texture, making every bite a balanced and delightful experience. This dish is a testament to Baker&Moore’s attention to quality ingredients and thoughtful combinations. 

It’s worth highlighting the sourdough bread itself, which was superb. The spelt wheat base was hearty and packed with flavor, perfectly complementing the toppings of both dishes. Its organic and sourdough qualities shone through, making it a standout component.

A must-try and one we would gladly order again. I’d give it a 9/10!

On the other hand, the Hearty Greek Chicken didn’t quite meet our expectations. While the dish had promising elements—particularly the marinated tomatoes and the rich, tangy homemade tzatziki—the slow-cooked chicken thighs fell flat in flavor, lacking the depth we anticipated. However, the freshness of the little gem lettuce and the crunch of pumpkin seeds were enjoyable additions. Despite its shortcomings, the hearty sourdough bread elevated the dish, providing a robust and flavorful base. I’d give it a 6/10!

For drinks, we opted for a chai latte. While it was pleasant enough, the drink leaned heavily on milk, overshadowing the boldness of the chai spices we had hoped for. It could benefit from a more pronounced spice profile to balance the creamy base. I’d give it a 6/10!


Whether visiting as a duo or a group, Baker&Moore caters to all with a flexible and accommodating approach. The venue offers an ideal setting for gatherings, from baby showers to team outings, with the option to reserve the upper floor for private events. Guests with dietary restrictions are thoughtfully accommodated, with precautions taken to avoid cross-contamination in an open kitchen environment. This attention to detail and inclusivity underscores Baker&Moore’s commitment to creating a welcoming space for everyone.


Baker&Moore offers a unique and inviting dining experience in the heart of Rotterdam, showcasing a commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients and thoughtfully curated dishes. While the Our Burrata & Moore was a standout, bursting with flavor and balance, the Hearty Greek Chicken left us somewhat underwhelmed, highlighting the potential for improvement in some menu items. The sourdough bread, however, consistently impressed, adding a hearty and flavorful touch to every bite. Despite minor shortcomings, Baker&Moore’s warm ambiance, creative menu, and dedication to culinary excellence make it a worthwhile destination for brunch lovers seeking a blend of comfort and innovation.
